I'm curious what "papers" he sent the lending bank??? Never heard of a loan situation where you, as a SELLER would send ANY papers before you have money in your bank...
I disagree, we bought our 5th wheel from a couple in Idaho and we're in California. Our lender USAA asked the sellers to send them the title, registration and I can't remember what the last thing was before they cut a check in their name.
I would have no problem whatsoever with sharing a photo copy or emailed scan of the title, but I would not ever send the *actual* title until I had the money... It seems like giving out the VIN number would be sufficient, also.
keep it simple, I want to see the title at once. "Front and Back. Send a good bank wire to there bank number account. Øne thing I also do when looking at the cycle or car is get there phone, home address, look them up on google to see if they are real and live where they say they do. It is our money lest make sure we are dealing with who we think we are, I have also had they email me a drives liesen to look at. Haven't lost yet.
