DW sold a car once to a local student from China. When she called she said in her best English that we must bring it to her and she would pay our price. Said she had no way to come look at it. She had no license.
Sounded awful fishy. We had serious doubts. DW would not go alone.
Drove it over. We drive her in it to her mechanic of choice. And it was a Friday so the bank was open late. Got cash and signed the papers.
Just saying some odd stories work out fine.
