When I bought mine from a gentleman in CT, I conducted a wire transfer. My bank was ready to go with the transfer but was awaiting my phone call. I called, gave a secret password and they transferred the money.
He signed the title, I made the drive back to PA.
And don't laugh, I sent a trailer once to pick a chopper up from a guy in FL. All I had were pics from an ebay auction. Unfortunately I am the one who got scammed. It was not in the condition he stated. :(
