I sold an RV on eBay to a guy in Florida. He has already contacted me & paid the $100 deposit via Paypal. He says he's going to get a transport company to pick it up but we haven't worked out the when yet. He owes several K. How would be the best/ most trustworthy way to get the money? I don't want to get the rest thru Paypal because of the fees.I don't THINK he's a Nigerian scammer since he mentioned NOTHING about sending me EXTRA money. ;)

The only way to be 100% sure is CASH, pure and simple. Maybe a wire transfer from his bank to yours, dunno for sure about that. He can bring you a cashier's check but it may be no good, which you will find out too late. Personal check, ditto. Money order, ditto.I do know, I would do nothing until I had the cash in my hand, not a check, not a cashier's check. Cash.

Very few options. It depends on how much we're talking about here. If he scams Paypal, you could be out also when they want their money back. Cash, cash, cash.

If he trusts the transport company with his property, then have them bring you your cash.
