Some very basic workcamping questions

I've never done workcamping before, but it seems like it would fit my skillset and lifestyle.

1. Are in-person interviews generally required / possible?

2. Is now too soon to be applying for next winter?

These two questions are related, as it would be easier for me to do interviews now, while I am in snowbird country, rather than when I am at my summer home in the north.

3. Does 'some housekeeping duties' mean 'clean all the bathrooms and showers every day'? Or does it mean someone else does those? Does the answer vary per park, or is there a standard understood definition?

Thanks!

    Yes
    It all depends
Of course this all depends on what kind of work camping your looking for. Paid or volunteer????
We volunteer with the state parks system. Within the system there is a wide variety of positions available. From cleaning cabins. Park maintenance, to equipment maintenance. There are few mandatory jobs, but rather you do what you can and want to do.
Paid positions are usually quite different. Just like any other job, there will be assigned duties and pay for doing those tasks.
