If via your e-mail.......watch it. It could be hijacked and used to gain access to your contact list etc.
When using Craigslist always respond via Craigslist.
If they want response via your e-mail.......move on. They may just be going after your e-mail account.

I responded to their query through Craigslist, but I changed the email to the one they provided. Then the response back from them was via yet another email address.
I just went back and looked, and yes, they have my email address.
