After looking at some pics here on the forum I notice a lot of CG's have their sites very close. As you say, like a parking lot.
We have stayed in very few private campgrounds. One thing that I find interesting is the sites with cement pads, patio areas that look like you have pulled into your back yard. Are these becoming more popular?
We are use to provincial parks further north where the sites are surrounded with trees and brush. In most you can't see the set up in the next site.
I enjoy the pics of different CG's. They vary quite a lot.
