If your trailer tows well when no outside forces are causing sway like crosswinds or passing trucks, I'd think tongue weight is probably ok. If it's too light, you'd feel it trying to oscillate at interstate speed on a calm day. If it is oscillating, sway control won't correct it. For passing trucks and crosswinds, the Anderson and Blue Ox will find center but won't prevent sway. Friction control hitches will control sway but don't prevent it. The Reese DC locks in straight line much like a rotary switch in a detent as long as it's set up properly to prevent sway. I'll likely find out for myself how much in the near future. More out of curiosity than necessity.
