Although it's a possibility, I also wouldn't put meth lab too high on the list. There are quite a few states that although they require trailers to be registered and display a license plate by law, it's hardly enforced. This simply means that someone may have taken it for their own personal camping use.
Another reason it may be parked back in the woods is for use as a hunting shack.
I agree, check CL. I wonder how putting your own ad on local CL offering a reward would work out???
