I'm curious as to the suggestions to post the VIN for folks to help find it. I would NEVER approach a stranger's vehicle or trailer trying to confirm the VIN as stolen. Checking out similar vehicles/trailers at a campground isn't a very effective way to find a stolen one. It's more likely going to create a huge scene at a campground. Leave the VIN checking to the police.
To the OP, if you have photos of the quilts, I would visit thrift/consignment/pawn shops within about 100 miles from your home and see if anyone sold or tried to sell them to the shops. You might find them at one of the stores. Unfortunately, that's about the best you can do to recover any of the items unless the police are able to recover it on the road somewhere.
