Tan

Just curious. Why so many tan campers these days? Earth friendly? Overstock of tan fiberglass? Easier to hide dirt?

No complaints. Just wondering why the craze?

White is just so "yesterday"... :B Manufacturers have been coming up with all sorts of snappy looking colors in the last few years. Winnebago is using bright orange, red, yellow and green which I think is too garish tho.

Our KZ model used to be white up until 2013 when they made it tan. About then, a number of other manufacturers were coming out with light tan units. In 2014, KZ switched to light grey in a effort, I assume, to differentiate them from other brands. We like the looks of the light grey over the tan color. Would not own a white RV now that we've owned one with color.

I used to hear the reason for white was so that AC units would keep the inside cooler.
  • IMHO, a current decor fashion. I was recently going through some of my parents old photos from the early 80s and saw a lot of tan colors on RVs then.
