Tandem towing with 65' Max - anybody enforcing this?

I see that almost all states west of the Mississippi allow tandem towing. I am planning to upgrade to a 5er in a couple of years and I like the option of pulling a small utility trailer in tandem. Looks like 65" is pretty standard. I am thinking that a shortbed , 38-40' 5er, and a 12' utility may be slightly over. Is anyone really regulating this rule out there?
  • of course it is being enforced

how much and where, IDK, you know they are going to write tickets
and you might even be forced to disconnect and leave the extra TT, and have to come back for it

is that a chance you want to take

i sure would not push my luck

i would make sure my rigs total length was under the limit

That's it...just the kind of country I want to live in! If there is a small chance of getting caught, violate the law! PARTICULARLY when you are a GUEST in another state!
