There are several in this thread that praised long shutdowns such as what we have in Virginia, As individuals recover, they are no longer in danger, and should not pose a danger to others, there has to be some mechanism created or in place to get those folks back to working, in their old positions, or new ones, but we can not sit in hiding forever. Even if the Govt kept printing and handing out money, what good is it to anyone if nobody wants to pick the crops, run the farms, drive the trucks and forklifts or run the cash registers?
You have to reopen in order to feed the population.
