I think someone got their news stories crossed. The National Guard troops are controlled by State governments and as goofy as my governor is, Marty O'Malley wouldn't agree to killing commerce in his state. Shutting down the Beltway would close the major North-South corridor. The Beltway is 65 miles in circumference. I don't see truckers wasting that much time or fuel just to ride in circles. These may be some disruptions, but traffic will move.
