MS S&T's, create a route, if you want to change the indicated route, put the cursor on the route where you wish to alter, hold left mouse button and drag to desired location. Release mouse and route will update. Continue until you are satisfied with the route.
If you have a portable GPS, that will import routes, in S&T's when the route is displayed, select DATA and create a GPX file. Name the file. Connect the "Garmin to the PC, when it boots, looks for the file you created on the PC, then under Garmin, drag the file to GPX and copy. Disconnect the Garmin, scroll to the DATA icon, select the route from the files and IMPORT. You now have the altered route on the portable device.
