What's odd, here in PA all gas contains ethanol, accept for aviation fuel of course. :?
In the corn belt states, the producers of ethanol, a lot of the gas stations offer a choice of different ethanol blends of gas and gas without ethanol added. :@
Ethanol has less BTUs in it then pure gasoline so your mileage is always going to be less - comes with the territory. I seem to remember 10% as the magic number, but not sure.
When I lived in Iowa, you had a choice of two 'regulars'. One was ethanol-free gasoline and the other had ethanol added to it (was actually mid-grade and had a higher octane). The ethanol version was somewhat cheaper/gallon then the lower octane regular.
