One local station would always throw the CEL on my old car. Every darn time. As soon as I gassed up elsewhere, it would clear within a few miles. I found it odd.
Nowadays I usually just use Costco if they're close to me. Usually they are the cheapest or within a few cents. But on a trip I usually just fill up near the freeway. It's not usually worth it to drive out of the way to seek out gas stations that aren't on my route just to save a couple of bucks on a fill up.
