I am with you. We have used that rule with all our RV's so far. We made an exception for my wife's parents when the camped with us about seven times when in their 90's. We never had a problem over all the years. I never cheated but I do not know about others.
However; following manufacturers' directions of having enough water kept in the tank before dumping, and using approved TP works.
At home I am a "folder". :C
