- BarabooBobExplorer III50 miles per hour is my guesstimate when panning a trip. We stop whenever we see something that strikes our fancy and don't worry about the length of our stops. We do frequently eat lunch while driving to make up for our stops but that changes daily also.

Hello. What do most people figure per 100 miles? I usually figure 2 hours. - LadyRVerExplorer IIJust took me 1-1/2 hours to do 51 miles....LOL. Not interstate driving. With all my stops, I figure 33 mph... that is OK... in 6 hours I do 198 miles and I am ready to hang it up for the day.
- ScottGNomadSame here, 2 hours.

- donn0128Explorer IIIn over 30 years of travel for business I always used 50MPH average and was rarely ever late for an appointment.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer III100 miles.......2 hours 'drive' time
Actual 'travel' time......2 1/2 hours (potty break)
We travel 250 miles max per day......4 1/2 hrs 'drive' time which takes us 6 hours total 'travel' time
(depart 10AM....arrive 3PM) - IAMICHABODExplorer IIAs a Rule Of Thumb that is what I use.
