Tire pressures on new truck

My Buddy has a 13 so should be very close to your 15. If you look in the manual (like we did) There is a segment on the TPMS that tells you the loaded and light load tire pressures and how to set the TPMS for those situations. I don't have the figures in front of me but I believe it was 50# unloaded with 45 alarm and 80# loaded with 70 alarm. I am going off my year old memory here so please look in your manual for yourself but I know it was in there

I run 55/F and 45/R (non towing)
I run 55/F and 80/R (towing)

Get 60,000 plus on tires and I don't rotate

The "stock" answer is to use the pressure molded into the rubber on the side of the tire. However, as others have posted, if you're empty and ride would be better at a lower pressure. I wouldn't think that would be a problem as long as the pressure drop isn't more than 20% or so.

Doesn't matter the year, air pressure in tires is not one pressure fits all situations. The payload sticker is for max payload not empty load.
I adjust my pressure based on load, so empty I run about 45 to 50 psi rear, loaded I increase to 65 to 70 psi. My loaded rear axle weighs 5,500#, my tires have an 80 psi capacity of 6,830# I don't need 80 psi to carry the load safely.

FWIW, my 2013 F350 dually only lists one pressure. I abide by that when towing, but when I get down to Florida for 6 months this winter, I will decrease them to something that gives a much better ride.
