Another thing that you might consider is a no pest strip. There is a home defense brand but there is a generic brand that we get at our local farm store. You take it out of the wrapper and hang it where it doesn't touch walls, etc. because it might stain. I wouldn't use the living quarters with one hanging in it but after airing it out a couple of days, it shouldn't be a problem. We keep one hanging in our basement storage and it works quite well. The first time we hung one in our fifth wheel, I was amazed at the insects that it killed. I was targeting spiders and it knocked off a lot of those big, black ants that we didn't even realize we had.
