ants or bugs and mice and other such critters dont like vibration,and noise.
Id get a vibrating sander,without sandpaper of course,and touch/vibrate the areas where you suspect they are hiding,.
a loud gheto blaster powerful enough to shake the walls might do the trick also,
I used that to chase mice out of my garage
