This I agree with :)
Part of the problem is not many students go to a professionally structured 'driving school' anymore. High schools no longer offer drivers ed. It's all private now. It's parent taught by parents with poor driving habits teaching their kids poor driving habits.
I know this isn't aligned with the OP's topic intent but I had to throw this out there.
