Well I'll give the guy the benefit of the doubt. Pretty sure anyone w a dually knows about a drop hitch. Perhaps there is a decent explanation.
Does buying a dually impart some kind of special knowledge, or a dually owners just naturally smarter than us mere single wheel owners? - pitchExplorer II

Actually, there is no such thing as too much truck, unlike too much trailer & not enough truck. This guy just needs to find out about a lower drop hitch. :S
Wrong! Dang sure is such a thing as to much truck. That dually unless carrying some weight is gonna pound the heck out of that trailer. A suspension that hard with that lite a trailer is synonymous to slamming the tongue on the ground several hundred times per mile.
Won't be instant destruction, but will impart a bunch of metal fatigue over time - ACZLExplorerThat's a lotta weight on the rear axle!
- BenKExplorerExactly...who knows what the situation is...maybe moving it for a friend...

Actually with a 1ton dually and it's stiff suspension and that trailer and it's very light weight Aframe, I can see it flexing to the point of cracking/fatigue! - rhagfoExplorer IIIMaybe just moving for a friend.
