- MrRulesExplorerThe manual does indicate that the vehicle may be towed with all four wheels on the ground. It also suggests that certain fuses be removed, to keep the battery from draining, but they are not in the battery compartment as the manual indicates. The Batt 1 and OnStar fuses are both in the fuse box under the hood on the passenger side. I understand there is a way to add a switch that would allow you to just flip the switch to take these fuses off line instead of having to pull them each time you travel. This is really what I am trying to find.
Stu - wompsExplorerI towed a 2008 Enclave 4 down for a couple of years. I think it was fuse # 32 but that was a while ago! I did not have to insert the fuse to start the vehicle. But again there is 8 years difference in vehicle age.

Notes
Towable as is with speed and/or distance restrictions. Please see Owner's Manual for confirmation and procedures.
It is not recommended to tow this vehicle over 65MPH
The vehicle should be ran at the beginning of each day and at each RV fuel stop for about 5 minutes. This will ensure proper lubrication of transmission components. To prevent battery from draining while the vehicle is being towed, remove the fuse listed in the Owner's Manual from the fuse block, see Owner's Manual. This will need to be installed to restart vehicle.
To prevent the battery from draining while the vehicle is being towed, pull the fuse/fuses listed in the owner's manual. Follow owner's manual procedures. - George_HExplorerMy Buick AWD says don't tow! Haul on truck or trailer.
- BumpyroadExplorerhow do you know the manual is wrong? check with the manufacturer of the vehicle.
bumpy - jfkmkExplorerStu, if you're wanting to get the correct info, your best bet is to ask the dealer or call customer care. There's some great information available here, but like the rest if the interweb, there is misinformation as well.
