Remember this is an RV Forum NOT a Truckers Forum.
No kiddin'..... However rv or trucking vehicle combinations requirements are enforced by a same state code enforcement agencies. Thats why when talking double or triples it important to use the correct terminology when asking questions...or making a statement.
The towing two trailers being called triples we see on rv websites started with those info sheets that some rv blogger started showing each state combination towing regs (their opinion) without first checking to see how those codes are interpreted. They mistaking call a states three vehicle combination(truck/trailer/trailer) code a triple tow.
And for what ever reason some continue using the term triple tow.
I've seen questions on other rv websites where some one wants to tow three trailers.
And of course we mostly see questions from some who want to tow two trailers.
Not all in the rv world calls them the same.
