So is running a WHD with sway control. The Equalizer E2 will work great for you.
I tow at the max with a Honda Pilot, so I can tell you first hand the tires alone will be a night/day difference.
If sway continues, your set up is bad. Weigh the trailer and find the actual tongue weight, short wheel bases don't like heavy tongues. 10-11% tops IMO. Also check the pitch of the trailer. It should be level of slightly nose down. Not pointed up at all.
