No, I am not the "Resident Judge". But, you asked for opinions on the Forum and if anyone had any experience on the subject. Having owned multiple dealership/body shop combinations and traded for multiple wrecked units in the past, I gave you an opinion you asked for.
One does not need to be a "mind reader" to think you knew the items I listed because they came straight from your posts. I wish you the best of luck with your situation but ultimately the dealership most likely knew from the beginning what they were doing and will have the paperwork to back it up.
As others have mentioned, I hope you didn't blow a few thousand dollars by not asking for help from someone before the transaction was made and not post purchase.
