Nothing but net - NJRVerExplorerI'm sure the owner of the trailer has an idea of what happened.
- bfast54ExplorerAnd for the meteor to melt the hitch and cause the tire to BLOW... picture POSTED SHOWS ---to the left you can clearly see that both tires are full of air and did not blow out.... so your theory is full of holes as it were..:W

People are commenting on the lack of professionalism in the journalist field these days. Not only do they rarely get the story correct, but now they can't even string words together into comprehensible sentences.
That's my beef. If the story were properly researched and reported, there wouldn't be 5 pages of speculation. Journalism is a lost art - they're all hacks now. They're more concerned with being first and sensationalism than being accurate or comprehensible.
So why give 5 pages of discussion about how bad journalism has become? Talk about being off-topic. Journalism has sucked my entire adult life (and probably much longer than that). Bad journalism is nothing new.
Trailer came unhitched, killed someone, news story made. End of story. There's nothing to learn here at this point, and there simply won't be. If anyone is looking to learn something as a result of this situation, then you're better off to park your camper under the barn and stop driving. The chances of this being anything other than pure operator error is abysmal.
Nobody is forcing you to read or participate in this thread.
By coming back to comment on other people's posts, you are adding to the 5 pages of discussion. Seems you are perpetuating the very thing you are railing against. If you aren't finding any value in this thread, exactly why do you keep returning to it and posting? Just go to what you consider "worthwhile" threads and contribute to those. - turbojimmyExplorer

Kinda the same standard answer whenever there's an aircraft crash,.....pilot error. Sure, we want to know the details, which will come a year later, IF the NTSB investigates the accident. In this case, we're out of luck unless you talk to the driver of the tow vehicle, or the insurance investigators.
