A warning about those tire sealants. I have a utility trailer. My brother borrowed it one time to haul some stuff when his daughter went off to college. He gave it back to me.
Fast forward about 10 or 20 years. One of the tires on my trailer went flat. My air compressor would NOT air it up. I figure that the tire is shot so I take the wheel off the trailer and take it to a tire shop. The tire shop told me that someone had put that fix-a-flat stuff in that tire years ago, and it was never washed out. It had rusted out the wheel, and I had to buy a new wheel. They said if I ever have to use that stuff, take the tire off as soon as practicable, wash it all out, and patch the tire properly.
I called my brother and asked if he had a flat on my trailer. He said yes, but he fixed it with a can of fix-a-flat.
Be absolutely sure that whatever you introduce into your tire won't cause long term problems.
