I agree. LT are ok but are softer in the side walls.
have even heard old style bias ply tires work better than radial.
i blew out a tire on my boat and bought 4 new ones in las vegas nv. 4 years ago. good year brand stocked by dealer for u-haul dealer.
they were bias ply. the tire dealer said thats all they stock, as every one there runs them due to better performance in the heat.
can't confirm one way or the other but they do tow well (much better) than what i had.
