We don't know the facts in this case yet.
But..... Big trucks scare the s*** outa me. While I am sure that many truckers try to observe the rules and drive safely, in my observation, there are way too many who speed, tailgate, cut too closely in front, drift lanes while either sleepy or looking at their phones, etc, etc, etc. A speeding truck fully loaded can do a lot of damage in a blink and many truck drivers don't seem to care. And, I don't recall the last time I saw a truck pulled over by a trooper.
My bet is when all is said and done, we will learn that the truck driver was sleepy or distracted and following the vehicle in front of him (in this case a stopped vehicle on the side.)
Anything we can do to reduce the number of trucks on the road will be well-received by me.
Regards.

What you have to do is make the stores then store more products, in to days world it is supply and demand, stores do not stock or store product anymore like they use to. Thus more truck to get the product to the stores, sure train can haul lots of product but it takes them days an sometimes weeks to get to a point were then can be unloaded, when stores are asking for next or two delivery thats out of the question.
I have over 3 million accident free miles and a number of my fellow drivers have the same, more an more I see really bad drivers of cars speeding, cutting trucks off driving like they own the highway(aggressive driving) these are the people the police need to get off the road ...
How many people do you see crossing a solid white line on the highways, next time you go onto a on ramp watch how many cross that solid white line (it's not legal to do so) so if you get in an accident and you crossed the solid white line it will be your fault an you will get a ticket for doing so ...
