We pulled over as far as we could, but there was little shoulder coming up to a bridge and there had been floods which made the shoulder soft.Thank goodness a trooper arrived and put out some cones
and parked his cruiser with lights flashing behind us. It helped.Dale
Which this also brings up the topic of what we should have on board in our RV's.
I have '2-large orange traffic cones', and '2-triangle kits' on board.
They fold up and fit in a nice compact hard carrying case that fits right behind my MH seats.
I have pulled over to the side without any warning devices in the past and have been just about blown over by passing vehicles when I got out to check my MH.
Since I bought these safety triangles, it makes a BIG difference. I placed the triangles the correct DOT distance behind the MH and front and it made a BIG difference how fast people drove by AND how many moved over way before approaching my MH.
Now I would NEVER pull off to the side of the road with out placing my safety triangles out. And truth be told I also have 4 flares. :W
