  • The humor escapes me. Ridgeline is niche product. The ones I'm familiar with give good reliable service. I have a Nissan Frontier 4X4 similar in size, but typical truck frame. I find it very likeable to drive. For several reasons I didn't want full size pickup anymore. One valid criticism of these small trucks including Ridgeline is fuel consumption. My Frontier seems to come out on the losing end to a new Silverado 5.3 on every trip.
  • I leased an '06 Ridgeline to tow my boat. It did everything that I expected it to do. On ice and snow, it was OUTSTANDING, even better than both Jeeps that I have owned. I hate to say it but it would go places in heavy snow that would leave my my 2012 4X4 Ram 2500 stuck in a drift. Sure, I could jack up my Ram and put rediculous tires on it, but my comment was for both vehicles as delivered from the factory.

EDIT. My only disapointment with the Ridgeline was it's power and fuel economy. It wasn't very good in either category. At the end of the lease, I picked up a used '06 Dodge 4X4 1500 Hemi, because I needed to tow a heavier trailer. The Hemi outperformed the Ridgeline V-6 in both power and fuel economy, due to Dodges variable displacement (turning off cylinders at highway speed)

    Cute???
Well it has a 5,000# towing capacity and we pulled all of that and three adults, two large dogs 100# ea. from Portland, OR to Bolder, CO! Worst hill on I84 in the Blue Mt of Oregon got pulled down to 45! We were pulling a U Haul tandem axle I closed trailer that scaled 4,600# on the axle!
The truck bed was full and also the trunk, yes the space under the bed is as big as most car trunks!
    The little TRUCK impressed me!
  • If they made the Ridgeline into a proper truck, like th Tacoma or new Colorado/Canyon, it would probably be a nice vehicle.

What it is now, is neither a good truck or a good SUV.
