Had the exact same thing happen to our TT. I reinforced several of the bottom shelves. A shelf in the wardrobe closet fell apart on one trip.
If that's all the typical crappy factory work that they do and have discovered so far, count yourself lucky. Maybe the PO has already dealt with the worst of it? Poor workmanship is the norm in the TT industry. I could write pages of things I've found and done to repair or upgrade in our TT. Am just on a long 3 week trip through 7 western states and have had to replace the battery, the converter and now the toilet valve. The TV stopped working a few days ago and it seems like the SensarPro signal finder has failed. Even when you think nothing more can happen, it does. It's not just poor factory workmanship, it's also poor quality components they use to build them. Ask me about frames some day... And as for dealers, forget about them ever fixing stuff properly - another thing you can ask me some day too. Pffft...
