I think DOT describes it as a truck pulling three trailers is a triple tow. Since DOT doesn't want to have anything to do with non-commercial vehicles you find all kinds of different descriptions of what TRIPLE and DOUBLE towing means in the RV world.
I can hardly imagine controlling three separate trailers behind any truck. The fifth wheel trailer by the way it is hooked up is probably the safest towing of all the trailers and this is why you find them listed in most states being allowed to tow a trailer behind them. Towing a TT trailer behind your truck with another trailer connected behind the TT trailer has got to be more involved safety wise.
Then you have the connected trailer with a swivel wheel sometimes not even called a trailer in some states.
I think I will only just stick with towing ONE trailer at a time hehe...
I want my camping trips to be more on the fun and relaxing side...
