I have had my lausa severely attacked by an off leash pit in front of my kids. Dog owners never apologized. They were evicted within the hour. I also have a black lab who would'nt hurt a fly and is extremely loyal staying with us always. I leash the lab in camp just to make everyone feel better. When out hiking the leash comes off. Never had a problem. Should I leash my dog there too? I have mixed thoughts on this.
I'm not being a smarty-pants or mean, but yes, your dog should be leashed. The rules apply to everyone equally. And if another dog should happen to attack yours, you hopefully have some control. Sorry,JMHO.
