We have a miniature schnauzer that is always on a lease. She thinks she can take on the world. I always worry about her, me, and or my wife being attacked by unleashed dogs when out walking her. My secretary's leashed miniature poodle was killed by an unleashed dog several years ago. Also saw two people standing together and talking in an RV park. One had a small dog on a leash the other a full sized dog not on a leash. Suddenly the unleashed dog attacked the small one. I thought the little dog as well as the two people in the middle of the fight were all going to be injured. The little dog owner picked hers up and the big dog continued to attack the little one as well as the woman holding it. They finally got them separated and other than a few scratches and scrapes all were OK. So it can happen.
