Not true.
I RV with dogs.
If I heard of a CG that was STRICT on CG dog rules?
I'd be the first one in line to stay there! :B
I want the same peace and quiet and safety as the next guy.
I don't think bad CG reviews 'from the offenders' is going to deter anyone from staying there EXCEPT the pet owners who WANT and DO BREAK THE RULES!!!
CG owners! Buck up and start enforcing your CG dog rules!
Pegasus Farm Campground in Elkins WV is a "roam free" campground. All dogs are allowed off-leash. I love camping there and letting my dogs have the run of the place -- it's a big farm with a stream and a pond. Dogs are welcome to swim and run wherever they please. It is understood that if the dogs poop in the fields, it doesn't get picked up, but if they poop in the camping area, whoever discovers it first can pick it up if they want. If they don't want to, somebody else will get it later -- no big deal.
I love that place.
