When are people going to understand that walking their dog is not exercising it? Dogs need to run to get exercise. A walk might make you feel like you're doing something for your dog, but you're really not. Almost every dog I see being walked is overweight and unhealthy, just like most of their owners.

Lucky for us our 61 lb GSD is in great competition shape, but thanks for your opinion. Oh wait, that's not luck, that's the work we put into her training :p
