- wags999ExplorerYou can have a rear "carrier" welded onto your frame. Two extensions out and then mount a metal frame that can carry your MC. When you load your rig, try to offset this weight with more weight forward of your tires. Be sure to keep within your weight limits.
- CavemanCharlieExplorer IIIDon't use the bumper to carry anything but, the sewer hose. If strengthened up you can put a bicycle back there but, that's it.
- dougfordExplorerSimple solution. Trade the Spree for a toy hauler, and then join the BEST section of RV.net ever...:-)
- OFDPOSExplorerOften thought about "just exactly what is going on" with the undercarriage hitch/frame seeing all those bikes and stuff just bouncing up and down as I passed all the TT FW, and even MH's when I was commuting back and forth from Reno to Sac on the chewed up I80 twice a week..
By Lynnmor pics now I know.. - opnspacesNavigator III wouldn't do it. The bumpers on trailer have a hard enough time supporting a few 30 pound bikes before they fail catastrophically.
You will also probably have problems with sway as you will take too much weight off the tongue. - MgriffithExplorer.
- stew47ExplorerWhen I had my trailer I looked into a hitch set up for front end of the suburban. Doesn't cost anything to research that option.
- RedJeepExplorerOn a TT i used to own I put four bicycles, a 70 lbs generator, fuel tank and a tool box on a bumper rack. It lasted 750 miles before the bumper broke off of my trailer outside of Dallas.
But I feel for you. I am trying to figure out how to safely rack my Buell on the back of my new to me motorhome. Of course my current toy hauler made all that super easy. - bdeckerExplorerSaw that done once. The walls and floor of the trailer separated from the chassis due to the excessive bouncing caused by the weight of the motorbike.
