We also tried towing this trailer with a Porsche Cayenne using the WD hitch set up by the trailer dealer, and that also felt like it was being pushed around by the trailer.
This sensation of being pushed around almost sounds like "maybe" not enough tongue weight. Might try adding tongue weight. Maybe move the spare from the back, if it's there, and put it in a forward storage area or similar, as a test. If there is anything inside the trailer behind the axles that can be easily moved to a position in front of the axles, might try that too.
