Since you have an automatic transmission controlled by the engine computer, it doesn't matter too much; the computer won't let you exceed the redline in any remotely reasonable condition by forcing shifts and/or cutting out the fuel. I guess if you were backing down a steep hill at high speeds you might be able to exceed the red line...but that's about it, and I can't even begin to imagine trying that trick in a motorhome.
I think it's somewhere in the vicinity of 6K rpm, give or take a bit, but could be wrong. The engine does just fine being run at high speeds all day, even though it sounds like it's liable to dash itself to pieces, and generally speaking likes to rev quite high for a truck engine.
Frankly, the tachometer is rather a pointless gauge in this case IMHO. You can tell everything you need to know about the engine speed just by listening.
