Vacuuming out the water lines
Has anyone tried using a wet/dry vacuum to empty the water out of the fresh water pipes? I do not know what kind of suction pressure the plumbing can withstand. Is this a bright idea?

I'm guessing you don;t have an air compressor?
You can TRY to vacuum out the water lines......except you will leave alot of water behind due to all the AIR you will be sucking. Open a faucet/suck air, open a shower/suck air, open the toilet valve/suck air, open a low point drain/suck air etc
Air flows easier then heavy water..
But hey....it's your RV go for it
