Valve Stem Pressure Monitors

Anyone using the tire pressure monitors that screw onto the valve stem? I am looking at the non electronic type that have the RED, YELLOW, RED indicators. My trailer tires run 50 psi.

If so have you had any problems or brand recommendations?

Thanks
  • I had screw on ones that were a pain. They always leaked. I was always having to get out the compressor to pump up a few tires. I took them off and installed the double seal caps that allow you to easily measure tire pressure with a gauge, without removing the cap. Now I never have any leakage and it easy to measure pressure before hitting the road.
  • If they're not screwed on very tightly, they'll leak. You're better off with a gauge.
