Jim Shoe, I was in Pesacola at the same time. Graduated from AOCS there and got my commisson there. I too never had to leave FL. We defended Pensacola Beach well, it is still there. To all the "real" veterans who fought for us, I wish a very special thanks and a great Veterans Day. May God Bless our military.
