View blocked by awnings

In this photo look to the left out the windows and see the blue, those are the awnings, you might as well have the blinds down.
I thought the point of awnings was to sit outside under the awning for shade or for rain protection, but to enjoy the view from there, not sitting inside. We sit inside in the evening to play games or to eat in inclement weather, and of course we sleep inside, but otherwise we mostly live outside the camper.
