That alone kind of eliminates the possibility of using a campground. Too late for the office to be open, leaving too early for the office to be open.
Besides, why would I want to ruin everyone else's stay?
As for affording it? I'm usually on my way to or from an airport or air show. My plane burns 11 gallons of fuel an hour.
That's a nice campsite for every single hour of airtime.
In my opinion, some people are just not snobs, and are more considerate than the 'me first crowd'.
