Walk inside walmart, do some shopping while inside, use their restroom while you are shopping... slide problem solved.
I look at putting your slider out as setting up camp in their parking lot. Your trailer should be in an immediate ready to travel, ready to roll mode at all times while in their parking lot, not the appearance of setting up camp.
