An electric awning requires a different mindset. I was an manual awning staker with my prior TT. I ratchet strapped everything down and was ready for battle.
Now that I have an electric awning I don't consider going to battle. I just push the button and the conflict is over.
Extending or retracting awning is as easy as pushing the button. There is no need to make any long term awning commitments,just use it as needed or as the weather allows/requires.
